Project based learning is a hands on approach for students to learn or further understanding of concepts.   I have had a lot of success with this type of learning.  I enjoy watching students be creative as well as understand concepts we have discussed in class.

I have used projects in many ways in my classroom.  I find that it can be an effective practice for a teacher to use with individuals or groups.  Projects do, however, require resources.  For example, construction paper, markers, scissors, crayons, stencils, or colored pencils may be needed to complete a project.  You may want to make sure that these supplies are available to you before planning a project.
